Making toast for breakfast or brunch is by far the easiest and fastest way to get some healthy goodies in our tummy. I’m a huge fan of toast. Especially when you have these superfood toppings it just makes it that much better. Fiber, fat, and protein! I promise you, these 3 quick healthy toast ideas will leave you feeling energized and feeling good! 

The toppings and base are super important. I love using avocado and salmon because they’re loaded with omega 3. I can tell you that these 3 toasts are my kids’ favorite toast too. So, they’re kid-approved! Enjoy and feel free to switch up any toppings you don’t have. If you don’t have arugula, then use whatever veggies you have in the fridge. All my ingredients are purchased at Trader Joe’s! Have fun and enjoy! 

Sourdough toast topped with: 

  1.  Cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onions, garlic olive oil, pepper, and sea salt 
  2.  Avocado, smoked salmon, arugula, garlic olive oil, pepper and sea salt
  3. Tomato basil hummus, cucumbers, mini peppers, garlic olive oil, pepper, and sea salt 

Ingredients

-3 slices sourdough bread

-1 avocado 

-6 slices of smoked salmon

-1 tbsp cream cheese 

– 1 red onion, sliced

-1 tsp cream cheese

-1 tsp tomato basil hummus 

-½ persian cucumber slices

-1 mini pepper

– garlic olive oil

– salt and pepper to taste
