Let’s face it. Kids don’t want to just drink water. Every now and then, they’ll want to drink something with flavor, and that’s where the juice comes in! This is why once a week, I make juice for my family. Yes, with real fruits and vegetables. No labels. No added sugars. Just pure juice! Yes, I give my kids the occasional juice box, but I also love making them juice and smoothies every now and then to mix things up. So today I’m going to share with you my 3 juice recipes for health.
And while it takes a little more effort than buying juice, I can tell you that it is completely worth it. While it takes a bit of practice at first, I personally take a lot of pride in creating juices that my kids find delicious. In fact, my son Cody can’t get enough of it. Sometimes when I prep juice for the week, I can already feel him tugging on my pants as I chop up the ingredients, asking me for juice!
In order to make juice, all you really need to do is wash the ingredients and chop them up into smaller chunks. The recipes I’m sharing below are super simple! Each juice is less than 4 ingredients and if you buy these ingredients at Costco, they’ll last for weeks! My suggestion would be to prep and juice once a week to get into the habit of juicing. Once you do it, you won’t get back to regular juice! I guarantee it. The following 3 recipes below are pretty simple, delicious, and rich in nutrients. Not to mention, kid and family approved! Hope you guys enjoy juicing!
