It’s been nearly two weeks since we got back from Disneyland and we’re still having withdrawals. Yes, we were tired. Yes, our feet and back ached. But man did we have SO much fun! How much fun did you ask? Even DOUG had fun. Yes, Mr. Terrified-of-large-crowds and Mr. Anti-Disneyland. Even HE couldn’t deny that Disneyland was worth the trip, just to see how happy it made our kids. As exhausting as it was, we really needed two days off from this so-called “vacation”. Truth be told, we all know Disneyland isn’t really a vacation for adults.

So we did it. We bucked up and packed for Disneyland. We traveled to Anaheim and stayed three nights and did back-to-back days at the park. To give you a bit of context, I have three kids under 5 years old, so there are only a limited amount of rides we could do with toddlers, which is why I wanted to share with you my top 15 favorite rides at Disneyland with toddlers.

Luckily, the rides I listed below didn’t have too long of a wait. As you can probably guess, most kids would grow impatient after 30 mins of waiting in the hot sun. The longest line we had to wait in would probably have been Carsland which was an hour wait, but it was totally WORTH IT. My middle child, Cody doesn’t like to ride on too many rides – the thrill can be too much for him and he’s not quite at the stage where he enjoys it yet. But Carsland was the PERFECT ride for him. It had a great combination of the storytelling part of a ride and was super fast. I actually wanted to go on it again but the line wasn’t worth it. If I had to do it over again, I would go early and make a beeline straight for this ride because it stays pretty popular throughout the day.

With that said, I’ve divided the rides from Disneyland and California adventure below. There were some rides we actually went on twice because it was less popular but the kids still had so much fun.
