Since our summers are longer now, I’m still catching some gnats wandering in our kitchen, that’s why today, I’m going to show you how to get rid of fruit flies fast and once and for all. Don’t waste your money on those store-bought traps! You literally only really need 2 ingredients to catch these little fruit flies and gnats and you’ll be free of them. You will not only get rid of those fruit flies but you will also save money with this hack. The two ingredients are; Apple cider vinegar and plastic wrap. These two ingredients are enough to catch them but to make sure we’re getting rid of all of them. Here is the list of stuff you all should have in your kitchen.

To be honest the most important part is keeping your drains clean, taking out molded food, and vegetables and taking out the trash daily. Make sure to check out my homemade drain cleaner! you’ll thank me for not ever having to call a plumber!!!

Ingredients

• Small shallow bowl
• Apple cider vinegar
• Dish soap
• Plastic wrap
• Chopstick

Instruction on How to Get Rid of Fruit Flies Fast

• Pour 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar into the shallow bowl.
• Add a couple of pumps of dish soap.
• Now cover the bowl in a plastic wrap tightly and then poke a couple of holes with a chopstick or skewer.
• Put this bowl where you find the most fruit flies and gnats flying around. These gnats are attracted to the smell of apple cider vinegar. The plastic wrap ensures the gnats don’t fly out but the dish soap also prevents them from flying out. If you don’t have plastic wrap you can set this trap up without it.
• Now sit back and wait to see how many gnats you catch the next day.

Bonus Tip: To be honest the most important thing is to keep your drains clean and toss any molded fruits and vegetables.
