Since we’re creeping up into fall…I can’t help but think about this delicious and yet healthy drink: Golden milk latte also known as golden turmeric milk. Cinnamon and turmeric have this powerful combination that increases your energy and jumpstarts your brain in the morning. Truth be told, I am a big coffee drinker…but this golden milk latte definitely gives me a wonderful feeling after drinking.
Golden milk “originated in India, Turmeric Milk or Golden Milk is simply milk infused with turmeric and has been used to aid many ailments, including colds, coughs, inflammation, aches, pains, and restlessness.” SukhisÂ
If you have never heard of a golden milk latte…you’re missing out!!! This golden milk latte is Doug’s favorite drink when he goes to work. Since you can drink this hot and cold, I make around 6 bottles a week and refrigerate for him.

GOLDEN MILK LATTE RECIPE
This golden milk recipe is actually super easy to make. You can drink this golden milk latte cold and hot. I prefer hot while Doug prefers it cold. Since Doug has been fighting his hernia disc for the past 5 years, this golden milk latte has really helped with his inflammation and pain.

- Turmeric powderÂ
- Ground Cinnamon
- Honey
- Ground Black Pepper
- Ground Ginger Powder

Golden Milk Latte
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- a pinch Black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 2 cups Coconut milk/Almond milk
- 1/2 tsp Ginger powder
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a small pot over medium heat
- Heat and mix until smooth
- Pour a gold milk latte into a cup and enjoy!
