Recipe for Turmeric shot

If you've been following me, you must know how obsessed I am with turmeric and turmeric related. I have tons of recipes on how I use turmeric in my recipes such as oatmeal, smoothies, soup, pickles, so definitely, make sure to check them out! But today, I will share my absolute FAVORITE recipe for turmeric shot, which is my go-to drink in the morning!

Equipment

  • Juicer

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Cut into pieces turmeric
  • 1/2 cup Peel and cut Ginger
  • 2 Lemon (Juice)
  • 1 cup Coconut water
  • 8 Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add everything into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth (with no chunks).
  • After you blend everything smoothly, now use a cheesecloth or a strainer or paper towel to strain everything out. If you're using a juicer you don't need to do that. just juice the turmeric and ginger and garlic and then throw the juice into the blender and blend.
  • Now pour the juice into the mason jar and take a shot every day!
