Yes, yes, yes!! I know I’m a little late to the game…but wow…. the AIR FRYER invention!! The air fryer literally just became my new best friend. Don’t get me wrong Doug…! and yes, I love cooking on the stove especially outside but when you’re a busy mom…. time is the essence. The conventional way of making Brussels sprouts probably need around 45 to 50 minutes. So how long do you cook Brussels sprouts in an air fryer? With this amazing air fryer, you only need 15 minutes! Don’t stack the Brussels sprouts, because it’ll keep the Brussels sprouts on the bottom from being crispy.
Remember to toss the Brussels sprouts in olive oil before you put them in the air fryer.
Air fry Brussels sprouts recipe
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 teaspoon of salt
- 8-10 sliced/whole garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Heat the air fryer to 380 degrees.
- Trim off the head of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
- Transfer over to a bowl and mix in the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Now add the Brussels sprouts into the air fryer (don’t stack). Do a thin layer of Brussels sprouts.
- About halfway you can flip the Brussels sprouts and add the garlic.
- After the Brussels sprouts are done transfer to a bowl.
