We have a few staple items in our pantry at home and one of them is none other than apple cider vinegar. We love an apple cider vinegar drink in the morning because of the wealth of benefits apple cider vinegar provides.

So why should we drink apple cider vinegar ?

I had heard that apple cider vinegar a couple of years ago for its many uses for everything from shiny hair to natural cleaning solutions. As I researched more and more, I began to learn more about Apple Cider Vinegar and its history. It is believed that Celts in Britain made cider from crab apples in around 3000 BC. Then Romans invaded in England and they introduced their orcharding techniques and apple cultivators. There is evidence that people have known about the magical benefits of apple vinegar as far back as ancient Greece. In around 400 B.C, the father of modern medicine Hippocrates treated several illnesses (including cough and cold) with apple cider vinegar and honey in water. It was also used as alternative medicine in Africa and China.

I’ve had an apple cider vinegar drink in the morning on an empty stomach for over 3 months now and wow I’m no nutritionist but I’m absolutely amazed about the wonders of this magic liquid.

Today, I’m going to share with you the top 8 benefits of an apple cider vinegar drink in the morning as well as my experience with this magical drink. As we all know apple cider vinegar have tons of medically proven benefits, some of them include:

  • Lowers cholesterol
  • Improves digestion
  • Lowers blood sugar levels
  • Anti-aging…. You must be thinking…what?? 😅
  • Reduces bloating
  • Reduces belly fat
  • Aids weight loss
  • Natural anti-inflammatory

Ok, you get the point. There are tons of benefits of drinking apple cider vinegar and lemon juice in the morning. The reason why I started this is because my mother-in-law has been telling me for the longest time about the benefits of apple cider vinegar, but it wasn’t until I did my own research that I’ve finally realized that this is something worth trying.

I’ve been drinking apple cider vinegar and grapefruit juice every day in the morning on an empty stomach. I switch it up sometimes from using grapefruit, lemon, or lime and I must say – it has completely changed the way I feel all day. I feel super energetic and extra productive in the morning.

I usually mix my apple cider vinegar with some kind of citrus, warm water, and a bit of honey. I love it because it helps me to wake my body up in the morning and it soothes my stomach.

Personally, I’ve never felt better! Overall, I have reduced 2 inches off my waist and I feel that it has also helped me to reduce my lower belly fat. I no longer feel sluggish around 3 pm. If I’m feeling tired, I’ll drink another cup in the afternoon. I usually work out right after I drink apple cider vinegar in the morning.

A study conducted by Healthline shows that

“Overall, apple cider vinegar may contribute to weight loss by promoting satiety, lowering blood sugar, and reducing insulin levels.”

You might be thinking “Is it better to drink apple cider vinegar in the morning or at night?” Well, studies have shown that taking apple cider vinegar drinks at night also has its benefits. It helps in digestion and lowering sugar levels. But drinking it in the morning is definitely more beneficial.

Note: If you are on insulin or are on a diabetic patient, make sure you consult your physicist about this! Also, don’t over-consume apple cider vinegar

I personally have been drinking apple cider vinegar in the morning for a while now and so does Doug. I can’t rave enough about my apple cider vinegar drink in the morning. Give it a try and let me know if this helps you. Below is my recipe. If you don’t like how strong the taste is you can try adding some honey. Enjoy!
